Europe's most photogenic mountain road.
Points of interest
- •Nus de sa Corbata (Tie Knot)
- •Coll dels Reis
- •Sa Calobra cove
- •Torrent de Pareis canyon
Recommendations
- •Take water and snacks. No shade on the climb — summer temperatures exceed 35 °C.
- •The Sa Calobra loop is arguably Mallorca's most famous climb: 9.4 km of dizzying descent with hairpin bends up to 180° (including the iconic 'Tie Knot') down to a hidden cove.
- •Then back up the same way. A challenge for cyclists, a unique experience for motorcyclists. Go on a weekday before 9 a.m. to avoid the tourist coaches.
